Version 1.2.0 Sponsored Hero

Version 1.2.0 Sponsored Hero

Kevin Davis, co-owner of “The Harman Media & Marketing Group” has been playing around with WPSuperDealer and some of the add-ons and he realizes there’s no obvious way to integrate forms from his preferred forms PlugIn.

He reaches out and wants to know, “What’s the story with forms? Listing vehicles is awesome, but we’re building a site for lead generation.”

We pointed Kevin to one of our blog posts, detailing how to integrate with Contact Form 7, a free and fairly powerful PlugIn for building forms.

All of this is well and good, but Kevin wants to do a lot of sites for their many clients. He’s a busy guy and a lot of this work is going to get passed down the chain. Those instructions need to be handy and easy to find to make the process smooth for even their newest staff members.

Write, Test, Review - Repeat

In the root of our core PlugIn is a tiny little text file called roadmap.txt – It’s a general outline of where we think the next few updates might go. It just so happens that v1.2.0 was focused on providing the very information Kevin was looking for.

A short conversation later and The Harmon Group decided to sponsor version 1.2.0 and insure the new forms tab is available in the settings area with all the information you need to start integrating your forms.

The instructions cover setting up Contact Form 7 and has some information you might find useful for other PlugIns.

If you need instructions for a specific PlugIn then reach out and let us know. As time goes on we’ll try to add instructions here on our site for the ones most in demand.

What's a Sponsored Hero?

The core WPSuperDealer PlugIn is open source and its development is paid for in several ways. One of the ways is for someone; be it a person, an agency or an unknown benefactor, to pay for the development of a new feature or even a new add-on.

It could be something on our roadmap, a new idea or a change to the core PlugIn that benefits the general public. This is different from a standard custom project, a Sponsored Hero is providing something that can be used by everyone.

If you’re interested in being a Sponsored Hero, or just want more information on the absolutely arbitrary criteria we use, then reach out and let us know!

"Another definition of a hero is someone who is concerned about other people's well-being, and will go out of his or her way to help them -- even if there is no chance of a reward. That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is indeed without a doubt, a real superhero." - Stan Lee
